I type like I talk.

While I would like to think that I can disconnect, I am a huge consumer of this new online world. I can scroll social media accounts for hours and although I am not necessarily "learning" I am always gaining ideas and bringing new concepts into my teaching and my life. I tend to type like I talk so if you are an English teacher or a Ted Mosby (HIMYM reference), please don't come at me!

Anyways, as I was saying, I am a huge consumer of social media. I try to stay away but I always find myself coming back to it. I may sound like I am older than I actually am by how I am describing this "online world". I am almost 30 years old, and I have grown up on a computer. I used technology in elementary, middle school, high school, college, and now as a teacher. I consider myself tech savvy which I am proud of considering my dad is an IT guy and my mom is tech-illiterate - it could have gone either way!

I love technology, I love what it adds to our lives, and I am done shying away from the online life I want to create! Thank you for coming along on this journey! (currently writing no-one)
